How we handle your information
The short version
We don't ask for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location — and we don't require an account or sign-in of any kind.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we never sell it to anyone.
While a game is active, session data — the pin, player names, scores, current prompt, and answers — is synced through Google's Firebase Realtime Database so every player's device stays in sync. Once a game ends, that data is deleted: typically immediately, and always within about ten minutes even in the rare case that doesn't happen right away. Pins are never reused for an old, finished game.
Your display name and any custom packs you've created live only on your own device, and stay there until you delete them or delete the app.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the app. Each processes data on our behalf, under their own privacy practices:
Processes purchases through the App Store and StoreKit, and manages your subscription.
Apple's Privacy Policy →Realtime Database powers live multiplayer sync while a game is active.
Google's Privacy Policy →If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another region with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights — such as access, correction, or deletion — under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws. Contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Outside isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and shared information with us, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update.
